Please join us for the third annual Windrider Film Forum in the Bay Area!
The Windrider Forum creates a space for meaningful dialogue between filmmakers and audiences about independently made films in today’s society and culture. These forums exist to give opportunities for people to discuss the intersections between media, the emotional and affective experiences of watching films, and religion and spirituality. The Windrider Film Forum debuted in January 2005 at the Sundance Film Festival and has since been held in various locations around the world including Colorado Springs, San Francisco Bay Area, Canada, Milan, Roman, Tuscany, and Prague.

With Dr. Phil Carlson, Senior Pastor, Bethany Church of Sierra Madre
One of the most difficult challenges for ministers is how to provide effective spiritual care for people at the end of life. Dr. Carlson, who is both a medical doctor and a pastor, will discuss how you can prepare yourself to provide effective care not only for those who are facing death, but for their families as well. He will also address how you can understand your own feelings about death and dying, and how those feelings may impact the care you give to others. Finally, he will provide some guidance on how to prepare a funeral or memorial service.
All are welcome to this free Ministry Enrichment Seminar, sponsored by Fuller’s Office of Field Education and Ministry Formation.
